Vote Christian Albouras for District 20 Alder on Tuesday, April 6th
Christian Albouras is humbled to announce his candidacy for re-election to represent the 20th Aldermanic District on the Madison Common Council. Christian Albouras, his wife, Miriah, and daughter, Nathalia live in the Meadowood Neighborhood. “I am running again to continue to advocate for issues that are important to District 20 constituents and create a safe and inclusive city for all residents.”
Albouras has shared that he will continue to prioritize public safety and basic city services, violence prevention, youth engagement programming, and economic development. During his tenure, Albouras has consistently collaborated with residents to address important issues facing District 20.
The Meadowood Neighborhood Association President Terry Evanson, said: “Alder Albouras is an unstinting supporter of the residents and neighborhood associations in District 20. He has consistently and quickly responded to challenges ranging from gun violence to traffic safety. He always provides a listening ear and a ready conduit to city resources.”
Meadowood Community Health Worker/Community Ambassador Sheray Wallace shared: “Christian Albouras understands and values all people in his district, creating the time and taking actions to make people's voices heard and their concerns valued as he works for change to improve all lives.”
Greentree Neighborhood Association President Jane Sarafiny stated: “Alder Albouras is always extremely responsive to neighborhood concerns. He excels at communicating and working together with city officials and the police to make our neighborhood a better place to live.”
Albouras will make it a priority to continue to improve the lived experiences for all District 20 residents. “There is still much to work done and I look forward to tackling the challenges ahead to keep our city moving forward in the right direction”, Albouras said.
